1st league game on the 12th of Sept

Our league commitments begin on the 12th of September when we meet Tarxien Rainbows.  Our squad has not seen a lot of changes from last season.  Carlo Mamo returned from Birkirkara and Reuben Gauci returned from St Andrews.  Julio Alcorse also returned after 1 year.  We also signed Alfred Effiong and Kevin Polidano.

On the other hand the contracts of Ruben Debono and William Camenzuli were not renewed.  In fact William Camenzuli joined 1st Division Mosta on-loan.  Shaun Tellus was again loaned to Dingli.  Foreigner Florent Raimy went to play in Cyprus.

Marsaxlokk win 1st Division Fair Play Award

During the MFA Council meeting it was announced that we won the 1st Division Fair Play Award and placed 2nd overall.  Furthermore, Martin Deanov won the 1st Division Best Player award.
